Use the home-screen app and offline mode safely
Adding SIX to a home screen does not make account writes or consent decisions available offline.
Who this guide is for: People using a phone or an unreliable connection.
1. Use the browser's installation option
Where supported, choose Add to Home screen or Install app. SIX does not require a separate APK. The available menu depends on the browser and operating system.
2. Know what may be available offline
Previously loaded public examples, some help and local preferences may remain available. Do not assume an unvisited guide was saved. Account writes and consent changes require a connection.
3. Do not treat an old view as confirmation
An offline display does not confirm the current server state. Check the connection and any last-checked time. A failed request must not be treated as successfully saved.
4. Check activity before retrying
When connected again, inspect the activity history before repeating an action. After an update, reopen the app if needed and follow the error guide. Removing a home-screen icon does not itself clear account data or downloaded files.
