Review duplicates and older relationship records
Data quality is not about deleting as much as possible. Preserve uncertain records until you can review them.
Who this guide is for: People who want accurate counts and trustworthy relationship evidence.
1. Separate types of issues
Duplicate candidates, older sources, review items, failures and available undo actions have different causes. Do not combine them just to reduce a count.
2. Check both sides of an identity candidate
Compare the sources, organization and activity periods. A normalized name or overlap is only a clue. Identity review is a demonstration only. It does not merge or change real people, relationships or activity records. Actual merging and merge undo are not available yet.
3. Do not erase an older relationship automatically
A source not checked for 90 days may be marked old. This does not mean the relationship has ended. Review its date and context before refreshing or removing it.
4. Check the result and undo window
Importance marks, hiding, review choices and import undo affect what you see. Check the recorded change and any available undo deadline. If uncertain, choose review later before adding more changes.

- details such as source, time and count, rather than a message body.
- Pseudonymous key
- a value used instead of a name; it remains linked to an account.
- Encryption
- storing data in a form that needs a key to read; it does not prevent every risk on the same device.
- JSON
- an export format that preserves named fields and structure.
- CSV / TSV
- tables whose columns are separated by commas or tabs.
- vCard / VCF
- a contact-card file format.
- PWA
- a web app that supported browsers can add to the home screen.
- Relative score
- a comparison within current records, not a person's worth or success probability.
