Import relationship records safely
SIX reads only an export file you choose. Check what will be used and excluded before starting.
Who this guide is for: People organizing exported contacts and activity records.
1. Check the format and scope
The help covers Google contacts, vCard, calendars, email metadata, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, KakaoTalk, general tables and SIX exports. Parsing varies by export structure. Use identity and activity metadata; do not include private notes, message bodies, attachments or photographs.
2. Check the file first
Use a file no larger than 10 MB. Check its extension, source account and period, and remove sensitive free-text columns. Export menus can change. Renaming a file extension does not convert its format.
3. Read the processing result
Distinguish processing, partial success and failure. Review accepted, duplicate, excluded and failed counts separately. A failed file read is not a successful import. For a server error, check activity before retrying because some device or account work may already have completed.
4. Cancel or undo carefully
Cancel before confirmation. An eligible completed import can be undone in the activity view within three days. Read any conflict or expiration warning instead of repeating the operation. Undo does not erase copies you downloaded elsewhere.

- Metadata
- details such as source, time and count, rather than a message body.
- Pseudonymous key
- a value used instead of a name; it remains linked to an account.
- Encryption
- storing data in a form that needs a key to read; it does not prevent every risk on the same device.

- an export format that preserves named fields and structure.

- tables whose columns are separated by commas or tabs.
- vCard / VCF
- a contact-card file format.
- PWA
- a web app that supported browsers can add to the home screen.
- Relative score
- a comparison within current records, not a person's worth or success probability.
